Can someone recommend me some good books, or tutorials online that can use to learn java. Im starting my second year of uni soon and after messing around in my first year and just about scraping through i want to get a better understanding of programming in java.

WOW that books £23.99 but I am sure your expected to pay that for a good/Uni material book

Whenever I need a book like this, just go down to Waterstones and they have whatever you need

Programming books are usually quite expensive. I guess you could get away with not buying any books at all and just using the library books, but they tend to all be out at exam periods (at my uni at least). Its useful to have a printed copy as a reference I find as well.
