java!

hey, i had a new laptop a few weeks ago (specs below) and i like to play a game runescape, you may of heard of it. i love to play in the new H.D settings but my game is very slow and laggy i checked my cpu usage at the time and it was 100% constant untill i went of the website. so looked on taskmanager and java was up to max 90% cpu usage.

is there anyway to fix this? i dont want my cpu running at 100% all the time it can't be good for it.

intel core 2 duo processor T8100 @ 2.1GHz
4GB DDR2 SDRAM
NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GT
VISTA 32bit

Does this game use java? And on another note, why are you running Vista 32?

yes the game uses java thats why it was at 90% when im using java in something else its never that high, is it just the game?

i dont kno why im running 32bit i kno it doesnt register all of my 4Gig RAM but its just what come installed on my laptop. will have to pay to upgrade to 64bit?

It's most probably the game. As for an upgrade, you should be able to do it for maybe £20 or so. Talk to the manufacturer of your laptop.

Do you have the latest Java runtime? Might be worth removing what ever java you have and installing the latest. Also which browser?
