I was just on the phone to a job agency, she was talking about a job and mentioned how I'd be trained in something. I didn't get a chance to say "pardon?" as she was kind of going off on a bit of a waffle, but I can't figure out what she said. I was hoping someone here might be able to figure it out?!

The company is "A large international company specialising in development for job recruitment firms" and she named a large recruitment website, so perhaps it's a piece of software to do with that.

I'm sure it began with J but sounded a bit like "AJAX". If it is AJAX then fair enough, I'd love to be trained in that. If it isn't AJAX, I'd like to read up on whatever it is before I go for an inteview (presuming I get one) so I know at least something about it.

So, what sounds a bit like AJAX, is related to web development or maybe recruiting / general business, and likely begins with J? Anything? Maybe it wasn't even a J  Or maybe she did just say AJAX in a wierd accent?

Let me clarify.. we are looking for a word that has something to do with any of

web development
recruiting
business

it is also refined by

sounds like AJAX
starts with a J
might not start with a J

I thought it could be something obvious, in a "Oh yeah, she probably said..." kind of way.

As I'm sure you figure, I'm quite confident it began with J, but if there is something else that sounds like AJAX that doesn't begin with a J, then I would still like to hear the suggestion.

Also I didn't want anyone thinking to themselves "It could be <blah> but I won't post it because that's business software - nothing to do with web dev" so I said it could be to do with recruiting and business, too. But most likely not.

But yeah. Anything you can think of that fits the criteria :)

Hi,

Could it be JAX-WS (maybe she just said JAX) - Java API for XML-Based web-services? There are a few other JAX things I think such as JAXB (Java API for XML Binding). Both things that would be very interesting I think.
