JBL Creature II 2.1 speakers

Hey,

I was thinking about getting these, but are they any good? They are around what my budget is for new speakers, and I only want 2.1 because I cant be bothered with 20 ft wires all over the room, so 2.1 setup it is. How are they for the money? For about the same price is there better ones? I just really like style of them, after 8 years with the same little desktop beige stereo speakers!

Excellent speakers for the money, other ones to think about are the philips MMS430's and the Logitech Z3s. They are all similar, the logitech and philips have a little more power but it is down to what you prefer looks wise really.

i have em, ther great, kick out a lot of bass, sitting here doing nowt like now ive got 5.1, im no techno sound expert, but there good imo

I've tried them a few times in Lewis' in Buchanan Galleries and they seem good value for the money. Nice design and very good sound, especially considering their size.

SWEET!! I have never seen them in shops, I'll head over to Lewis's later to have a look at them in the flesh. Cheers.
