I've been looking around shops and websites, but I can only find jeans that go down to 30" inseam. I'm 1-2" shorter than that. Next sell 29" ones, but I'm thinking more along the lines of Diesel, Energie, etc.

Are there any good sites I can buy them from?

Topman sells 28" for sure. I have some Levis that are 29", and some Zoo Yorks that are 28" too.

I've found some places (diesel included) where 30" are fine with a belt. That said, whats 28" for one, isn't always 28" for another, as my topman jeans are definately tighter than my zoo yorks.

I'm talking about inseam, not waist length. :) Ty anyway though.

He means inside leg by inseam :)

EDIT: slow.

OP: Wear platform shoes?

I'm the same, can never find jeans that fit me perfect. Probably only ever found one pair of perfect 28"/29" ones, years ago.

If only I knew how to hem jeans :p

I was considering doing that, but as soon as I tried putting a needle through I decided I liked my skin intact.

Serves me right for not reading it properly.

The shortest inseam I have is 29" on my topmans, everything else is 30+

I know it'll sound odd, but have you considered the likes of Gap Kids? I've a couple of pairs of jeans from there which are an extremely good fit since I'm so skinny, and you couldn't tell they were kids at all. They're likely to have shorter lengths too.

The jeans discussions normally bring out the taller men, it appears we're establishing the shorter men here :)

You should be able to get Levi's, my housemate gets a similar size.

Pull them up higher? :)

Is he about 5'7-5'9?

I'll try Levis, that's one of the only shops I haven't looked at for some reason...

I was looking at the kids section of mandmdirect, and a couple of other websites, but they don't have jeans in the styles I like.

How much does this type of thing cost?

local shop round me does it for 5, my gf is a short *** and needs all her stuff taken up. You cant tell that it has been taken up either. But make sure you get a proper place to do it, You dont want some amateur hacking too much off or at a slightly wrong angle on your new £50/£100 whater quid jeans
