1 Optical DVD writer
Artic Freezer
2 12cm case fans

I think just but I'm concerned that the 12v rails are only 18A.

I would have thought so, but wouldn't it be better to just get an Antec Earthwatts or similar 'branded' one

It's for a client. How told me he had a 750w PSU when in fact it was the above. His bits have arrived and just wanted to check.

Yup that's fine, not the best brand by a long way, but that set-up should be comfortable. I'd suggest using a surge protector if he's not got one already.

my son fitted one of those first time he powered up big bang from back of psu, the main fuse of house tripped took half of the rig with it.

not saying they all do that but.....

Same.

I bought one from the purple shirts a few years back, and it was of poor quality, the cables were very stiff and one actually popped out of the 24 pin mobo connector.

Might have improved since then.
