Hi, I am thinking about moving to this case today, I have had it for about 2 years now, but I heard its got some serious problems for case cooling, and my X800XTPE had overheating problems in that case but I cant see that a problem for the 8800 since its god a decent cooler the takes air out of the back, but anyway, on the front of it, there is like an option for 2 fans, wil the 2 fans work at the front, I think it suks air through from under the case as there is no holes in the front, but do you think its worth me moving to the Light Fusion case from the case I have now, I know that it should be easier setting everything up in this case as its cleaner and better build quality inside.

Cant seem to find anything on the I-Cute though so this is all I have of it.

How much does that 'thing' cost?

2 x 80mm LED case fans - not that great cooling with only two 80mm fans in really.

You would be better of with a Lian Li PC7 a much better looking case for sure, and will provide better cooling. Or a Akasa Eclipse 62 which has brilliant cooling though both are great cases.

i had that icute case it ruled till i found out that the 80mm were noisy
i would move to a lian li pc-7
i went to a silverstone tj04 it gave better temps but im moving it to another pc
so the next case im going for is a lian li pc-a05 when i have money

Thanks guys, I will take a look at these cases for my next case, I allready have the Light Fusion, I have had it for 2 years, it was my first case I bought, at the time It was £45 /£60 in PC World, my I-Cute does indeed seem to give better cooling, but the Light Fusion has temp sensors on the fornt, I have stuck one in the CPU Heatsink and its showing 33degrees which is ok, and 31 for the whole case.

Ok, the side fan is pulling out some heat, the actual grill over the fan on the side of the case is hot with case temperature at 35 degrees, should I have the rear fan sucking in, then the side fan sucking out? or rear sucking out and side sucking in? Seems that the rear might be sucking hot air in the the 8800GTS gets rid of.

I have had this case for a bout 3 years now and have never had a problem with cooling as i have 2x80mm fans at 7v and its near silent the loudest thing is the fan on my 9800pro

At the moment, I am using 1 of the fans from the I-Cute for the side fan, its silent, but dont shift much air, but still when playing something like TDU, that side fan starts moving some hot air and the grill on the side fan gets preety hot, and the rear fan is connected to the sys power on the front of the case, sys temp sensor is pushed right into the cpu heatsink, that gets to 44 degrees at load and then the rear fan starts getting loud, but the rear is sucking in, I wonder if I should have that one sucking out? The second rear fan is turned off though.

I broke the CPU Temperature sensor though.

Well, to be fair the reason you haven't had a problem with cooling is because you have a 9800pro... I wouldn't like to try running a quiet system with an x1900 and a dual core CPU in there.

Well not all of us can afford a top of the line system :p

I personally don't use the fan controller on the front panel as it wasn't working very well for me, so i purchased some Zalman fans with the 7v resistors i have one on the case side blowing in and the one on the back of the case blowing out, as the standard fans are way too loud.
