Anyone know when another Jedi Knight game might be out for the PC? Been quite a few years since Jedi Academy was released so surely they are due one soon? One of the best games I've played and I'm itching to play another one!

I have heard of some game Force Unleashed a while back but just had a look now and it won't be on the PC which is scandalous!

Can't answer your OP but that Force Unleased NEEDS to be on the Wii.

I for one will be making light saber noises :p ;)
 
hehe, I think most would make those noises, especially if nobody is around ;) That game is on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, PlayStation Portable, Nintendo DS, N-Gage and PlayStation 2 according to wikipedia.

The trailers look amazing and I am dumbfounded as why it is not on the PC

I just hope you dont need to and when you move the remote the integrated speaker does it for you...

Will get a Wii just for that...

I just am struggling to get my head around their logic here. Many Star Wars games have done well on the PC platform and unless they have a Jedi Knight game lined up for the PC I don't see

Looking around on some Star Wars forums it seems the average PC user won't be able to play this game and that is their reason. Sounds like a poor excuse to me and they just can't be bothered with the hassle. They seem to be making a toned down version specially for the PS2 which takes the mick as well!
 
Geez, look at how many consoles they're targetting for Force Unleashed. That's ridiculous, it's on just about every console system ever released. And yet still no PC version. surely they'd do better with a PC version than an N-Gage version... dumbasses.

Found a link for it as well, right at the bottom it says the minimum specs would be too high. Surely people can put their settings down if it is too much for the system? It ain't gonna be more graphically intense than Crysis!

I do think eventually they will release one, possibly 3-6 months is what I'd guess. Just seen this petition as well http://www.petitiononline.com/mod_perl/signed.cgi?g5d4iu5f Almost 13k predictions, bet 10k of them are by SW fans using different aliases ;)

Yes, it is coming to the Wii & this is probably my most anticipated Wii title.

It wont be coming to the PC (but thats ok becasue it will be nice on the Wii).

If you want something similar it might be worth considering Battlefront 2. The Campaign has a mix of playstyles (not all Jedi) and is mostly focussed on multiplayer, but it does have some Jedi action, and you get to play as Yoda, Vader etc.

The game is distinctly average but I did play it through to completion - may be worth it if you need a SW fix.

KOTOR is fantastic although obviously not everyone's cup of tea as it is RPG not FPS.
 
Ive spent my christmas holidays finishing games I hadn't finished and which I still had my saved games.
So far iv'e done Doom3, Quake4, COD2 and just tonight Jedi academy.

Jedi academy by far was the best game, i just loved it, so many ways to kill enemies, puzzles, level design. jumping up high and 'force pulling' stormtroopers to their death never gets boring.
I recommend the jabloodydismemberment mod, I wish I had put it on earlier.

I did both the light and dark side last levels and the dark seemed harder.

Top game, I enjoyed it more than crysis and COD4.

I hope they make another one for the PC!
 
i loved the jedi knight series. Playing online was always entertaining apart from the odd cheater :(.

They'll probably just make it so swing from left to right does one animation and right to left another for the Wii, with no online features.

I'm bitter about buying one at all, honest.

I loved Jedi Outcast and Academy, played them loads online. This was back when no one had broadband, melee combat with 300 ping wasn't exactly pleasing, but completed the single player games a few times. Loved the force boon cube thing then going on a force push spree, that and the wookie cross bow.

Never played the original Jedi Knight game, only the demo from a PCGamer CD :D

I can highly recommend the Lego Star Wars series, great entertainment, playing through the original saga was hugely both fun and satisfying.
 
I still play Jedi Academy online, via the excellent Moviebattles II mod.
There really needs to be a further game in the Jedi Knight series.
 
Im gonna be dancing around my room, jumping off counches and arm chairs trying to do mid flight flips and things when this is released.....and thats just training for the actual game. I wonder if insurance policies are gonna come with this game, either for the player or for the things surrounding him/her in the area where the game is going to be played.
