Absolutely, the cream of musical talent from the 1960's and 70's is passing before our eyes. He played some amazing gigs with tremendous musicality.

I remember my dad playing Jeff Beck's Guitar Shop at his place. That was probably one of the albums that got me into heavy music.

Nah, if he were genuinely interested he could simply have typed "Jeff Beck" into that Google thing (even people born in the 60s will have heard of this) and got his answer in way less time than it would take to wait for a forum response, as could any other "who?" edgelord.

I've never understood those special people who trumpet their own ignorance about [insert subject here] as if it were a badge of honour.
