Jenni Lee found in Vegas tunnels!

I'm quite fascinated by Vegas, I'm a bit of a gambling fan and there is something magical about Vegas, though I'm also quite fascinated by the other side of it. I've read about the tunnel people before, the US is pretty harsh when it comes to social safety nets and there is a community of people living underground in the storm drains of Vegas.

Also read a series of blog posts by someone who was homeless in Vegas - actually super interesting, guy was selling his blood plasma at one point, spending most of the day in Casino sports lounges feeling around the sofas for any coins etc.. that had fallen. He'd avoided the tunnels and had found some hidden spot to sleep in behind some hedges.

But damn, just saw this on my newsfeed app, Jenni Lee, I used to be a bit of a fan of her back in the day. She was fantastic years ago then seemed to make a comeback after quitting to play poker and was still in excellent shape in her early 30s... now she's living with the tunnel people!

I read an interview with Mia Khalifa the other day which said about the performers getting a flat rate and no royalties, not benefiting from the monetisation of the sites in the same way YouTubers do.

Plenty of them are a bit naive relative to say the Instagram hoes/youtubers/twitch streamers doing not-porn on those platforms.

The chick selling her own bathwater seems to have made way more money than any pornstar bar a handful of top names.

Then again some porn sites are becoming more social media-like... with performers having their own pages and some porn performers mostly producing their own content with a partner etc.. from which they can profit from directly.

Obviously "owning the means of production" by literally getting into production by some means and (even better) distribution (for those who own their own sites), can mean way more money.

The fact is some of them are big names and ought to be worth way more if they'd made use of those names/that fame in a mainstream way too - you do get ones like Sasha Grey who crossed over into mainstream film roles. Ron Jeremy is pretty famous too.

Looking at the 'now' pictures..... Is everyone criticising seeing the same pics as me? She looks fine given no makeup, crappy clothes and 37 years old.

This isn't intended as a "elbows too pointy" comment but she's clearly got herself into a bit of a state, I hope she does get herself out of it.

Incidentally, most current younger pornstars can apparently be bought, some figures in the porn industry have spoken out about it*, ties in with the comment about about how they don't earn much... plenty of them make more money from being escorts on the side.

*For example IIRC Lexi Belle once criticised it, seems a bit odd though that someone who is paid to **** various strangers on camera for money is critical of others like her who do the same off camera too. Also, since she's rather more famous than most, she is (or was) likely in the position where she's got plenty of money coming in already.

you also have to factor in hardly anyone pays for the end product. they end up watching it for free.

as in when have you ever paid to watch it?

I subscribed to one once (only for a month mind, the content isn't really on the free sites), a friend of mine had written about "feminist porn" - it seems somewhat ill defined and not much different to regular porn except they try to be somewhat arty and put some effort into the production/cinematography. (But then again so do some mainstream producers too these days).

Those are gypsies though, kind of expected behaviour, give them above ground government funded property and soon enough they'll trash it to the point where the living conditions won't be much different either

With Vegas you've got absolute extremes, some of the richest people in the world just throwing money away in high roller rooms, some individual chips worth as much as the average car, some worth as much as the average apartment and more... then you have people who've hit rock bottom for various reasons, living in storm drains...

Love Mr Bald's videos. Such a likeable guy and not afraid to approach anyone. Alina is just the icing on the cake.

Yeah I've been watching him for a little while, he seems to have become very popular now, very interesting videos and unlike some of the other travel vlogger types he's very likeable.

He seems to have deleted his video where he and another vlogger try to swim across to an expensive hotel in India, that was hilarious - there is footage on the other guy's channel but Ben/Mr Bald seems to have removed it from his.
