Just saw this from the BBC and nearly had a heart attack.

Lol, the guys comes across as a bit of a plonker but most of the time it's all good fun. Must have been something pretty serious or if they're not going to show this weeks episode.

i think it was the Liverpool mayor who complained to the head of the bbc after some of the comments he made.

I hope he quits and itv/sky pick him up.

I personally find Clarkson's outspoken manner to be refreshing and wish we had more personalities like that on our TV. Alas, the BBC is in the vanguard of the political correctness movement, so it was only ever a matter of time till he was axed.

Topgear is apparently one of the BBC's best export shows, so it will be interesting to see what happens with it next.

I agree, I think it would be incredibly stupid if the BBC let him go. Expecially considering it's one of their highest viewed shows.
