I want to discuss Jeremy Clarkson.

Frankly I can't stand the nob.

I think he's lost a lot of credibility over the last 3-4 years. Every exotic car he drives is the "best car" in the world. He's quite predictable too. When he actually loves a car, he'll start of slating it first.

I think he should retire.

Discuss.
 
He's controversial, a loudmouth, "one of the lads" etc etc etc.

He also has a sence of humour.

Which anybody who took offence at last nights One show clearly does not.
 
He still manages to make more entertaining watching than anyone else who would feasibly replace him on something like Top Gear IMO.

I don't think he's lost credibility, the new Top Gear hasn't been about doing serious factual appraisals of cars for a long time, so it's really rather irrelevant whether he praises or slates the next supercar to come along. To say he's lost credibility would imply you take the 'reviews' that Top Gear do seriously, which is to miss the point rather massively I think.

What's he supposed to do, review extremely fast cars but say 'this is quite average' because he's driven a veyron etc?

I think he is hilarious. And as said above, i watched an episode of 5th gear on youtube. Well i say an episode, 5 minutes was all i could manage, total tripe.
 
I love to hate the guy :D He makes me laugh but I also want him to get beat up by 4 big fat women. :p

Those that want him to retire should think about who would replace him as I can't think of anybody that could do his job as well as he does.
 
He's hilarious, and anyone who takes what he says seriously needs to have their head examined. Funny how last night they introduced him as a man with controversial opinions and then seemed shocked when he gave a controversial opinion......
He also annoys exactly the kind of people I can't stand, which is always good :p
 
I like him, better than most - you just have to remember not to take him too seriously.
 
Just watched the clip of it on the bbc website. Quality reactions by the presenters :eek: with the crew giving another reaction :D
