Highlights from the article include:

'Jeremy Corbyn has made more than £3million from the state in the past 30 years, according to official records.' Yes, god forbid someone in the public sector would earn money from the state.

'Official records also reveal that Mr Corbyn inherited £37,478 from his mother when she passed away in 1987, worth the equivalent of nearly £100,000 today.' Man receives money 30 years ago, money would be worth more now.

'The Labour leader bought his home in North London in 2007 for £363,000 and this has since risen in value to over £600,000 according to property experts.' Again, it's amazing that this guy bought a house and it's now worth more. What a marvellous world we live in.

and last but not least 'Nearly every penny he [Mr Corbyn] has earned has come from taxes raised either from business or hard-working people.' It's as if he works for a publicly funded body or something.

Tory smear campaign surely? Absolute garbage journalism.
 
So he's earned on average £100k per year for 30 years, that's about right for a politician Shirley?

Utter tosh, sadly most people won't see it for what it is because they'll just be shocked enough at the headline.

She earns every penny as far as i am concerned just by existing. Royal family are a gimmick that the tourist industry have used for years.

Sure she does not actually work but look at how much some sport stars make for running around playing xxx. Sure they are good at running around but it is the money they bring to their sponsors that make their sponsorship costs worth it.

We gain significantly more than we lose through supporting the royal family, have done for centuries

She works as much as any other head of state without daily executive powers.

Thats the thing that always makes me chuckle about people commenting how much the monarchy costs (if it even costs anything, but thats not my argument)...if we abolished the monarchy, we'd still need a head of state. Find me one that won't will work for free and not need to travel and be protected etc etc
