I'm back baby!
Who is this guy?

22 years old
Scored 35 goals in the Ryman last year
Leeds have signed him for an undisclosed fee supposedly beating Chelsea, Watford, Southampton and Derby, amongst other un-named Prem clubs.

Never heard of him, but to generate that interest he must be pretty special.

He signed yesterday didnt he?

They interviewed him on SSN and he sounded really excited *bless

But to jump up 6 divisions he must be something

Top goal scorer in the ryman league this year too (before his move). Had formed a formiddable parnership with another non-league striker Richard Jolly before he left the same club. Dispite their league position in the Ryman premier it has been pretty much down to him to have kept them in that position without them falling any lower.

Many non-league fans from the Ryman league would agree that Leeds are going to have to be patient with him as hes not that technically gifted BUT can score some great goals when given the chance.

Dispite offers from other clubs including Chelsea and Palace, choose Leeds because he feels they are going places.

(Follow my local ryman league club Slough so know a bit about that level)

Yeah, the news stories all state that Leeds know they aren't getting anything like the finished article.

Strange that he's made it to 22 without being picked up by anyone else if he's that good.

He started in the same Chelsea youth squad with Carlton Cole.

Cant actually remember why he was dropped though, think he had a bit of an attitude problem during his youth time playing football and has since become a "reformed player" looking to make it big again.

Another player to look out for to possibly make it big in the future is Gareth McCleary.

Has been scouted by Reading any other league clubs. Only 18 years old. Was released by Oxford United and was watched by Leicester during his time there. Has also just played for British University team in Italy last month.

Wealdstone (just down t'road) have produced a few good players over the years, Vinny Jones & Stuart Pearce amongst them, & it'll be good business for them:)
He's a similar player to DJ Campbell who joined Brentford from Yeading now at B'ham, fast but a bit lightweight & will need a few pies & games to toughen him up:)

Gotcha.

Sounds a lot like Jody Banhim who I think plays at the same level. Corking finish on him but very lazy.

Saw him playing in the FA Trophy a month or so back for Stalybridge vs Salisbury City. He came on as sub and looked skilled on the ball but having been stood about 10 yards away from him warming up he looks hugely overweight. Not overweight as in stocky (Rooney), overweight as in genuinely a fat so-and-so.

I played with him in a tournament. His feet are sooo quick. Its unreal.

He was pretty big then, if he's bigger now its such a shame cos he had the talent.

Aye that was it

They were saying on SSN that he had come from the same club as Pearce/Jones
