Jessie J...

The latest recipient of the record bosses meeting to decide who's turn it is for their 'artistes' to win lots of awards and con the kids into thinking they are moderately talented so selling more records :(

Didnt she win a newcomer award or something at the brits, but then said she had been trying to make it in music for 8 years or something lol

I love internet geeks (of which we all are) passing comments on the attractiveness of women.

Why are we not allowed to?? everyone has a different opinion of what is attractive and what is not...i love it when internet geeks make passing comments on others who pass comments of the attractiveness of women....bit of a mouthful that is.

Anyhooo price tag is an ok song....i dont find her particularly attractive myself but then i dont find her offensively ugly either....each to their own and whatnot.

Normally I'd say each to their own, but when a no nonsense "She's hot" is thrown in to the mix I have to go all contrary. ;) She's really just a plain airbrushed Chav. Not hot.

I'll admit that Price Tag is an inoffensive catchy tune, but you're welcome to the rest.

Terrible music. Stuff you hear blasting from single mothers while they do "house work" in their state paid for homes.

To be fair to her she had been writing songs for other people for years as she had including Chris Brown,Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears amongst others before getting her own record contract and releasing her own album. While she was writing for other people she toured with the likes of Macy Gray, Sugarbabes, Girls Aloud, Chris Brown, Jools Holland, Cyndi Lauper and Taio Cruz as a support act.

Hence no surprise her own music is mainstream pop but you can't say that she hadn't grafted for her chance for years.

Trouble is, I really want to do a ned (chav). It's wrong, I know but golly I do. Just to mark it off the list, you know.

She's getting even more irritating these days with worse and worse music and, why, why did gurning become the latest "in" thing for female pop stars.

FLicking through the music channels I saw an mtv live thing, she sounded completely terrible and instead of the dude from price tags, they had that marginally famous London white rapper dude who is, honestly, so pathetic that the whole thing was hilarious.

I take this is a street you live on then?

And no, it's music anybody can listen to.

I personally don't like it.

Just about every song these days is based on "Canon in D". Love this video :)
I love this one....

It not surprising how many Lady Gaga songs you can sing along to this either.

Anyway, I think Jessie J is another pop fad who'll be replaced in a few years. Catchy music but not what I'd choose to listen to.
