Jet Li - Fearless/Huo Yuan Jia

Had the trailer to this before XMen 3 this evening and as a Jet Li fan it looked pretty good. Although as part of the titles it called it Jet Li's last martial arts epic. Anyone heard anything to that effect? It would be a shame if he's quitting the martial arts genre.

just watched it, looks good, but by epic it might mean final 3 hour film or something like that.

still might be doing shorter western movies such as unleashed etc etc.

well thats what I kind of hope. be a great shame if he was to stop making moview altogether.

I think what memphisto suggested is most likely. I'd be very surprised if he stoppped making films alltogether

Thing is, Jet Li has done very well where there's been a reasonable plot to back him up, because in all fairness he's an awful actor! I'm talking about e.g. Romeo Must Die, and Kiss of the Dragon which were quality. Films like The one were just bloody awful

I'm still a fan though I'm looking forward to his next movie
