really like 1 and 3
cracking shots
looks like a hard panning shot to get right!
awesome stuff mate
love the angle on 1 too, very dynamic
what lens did you use!?

Very nice! :)

Some tighter crops might help though.

Im planning to try some of this type of shooting this year. Looking forward to it. :)

I MUST get to RIAT this year, ive wanted to but been unable to for the past 3 years :( I really really like the first of the typhoon! Excellent shot!

300D and sigma 80-400 lens used, thanx for the kind words guys. I really love this type of shooting this tends to be what i shoot the most but the last few months ive been trying to get into other subjects but im not having as much luck with that  .

I think these pics are pretty good :). The first one could be improved considerably with a slight levels and curves, atm it's lacking a bit of contrast and is a tad under exposed, but still a great shot. Play with the levels and run a slight S curve and have a look how much more pleasing it is ;) Just something to take in mind if you like.

Tom.

I think you've posted the first before am I correct? I remember being wowed by it back then and it still does it for me now.

How much do you find your sticking it at the 400 end with these shots? I imagine its much like shooting F1 cars when you get quite close...here 1 second, gone the next!

I used to linve in Newhaven and went to the Eastbourne airshow every year, I loved it, never had a good enough camera to take good shots but I do now, but sods law I have moved to scotland :p

Will have to try and get up there again this year somehow :)

i might of posted it before on here cant remember i know ive posted it elsewhere, as for shooting length id say about 50-50 im not always at the front at airshows so id say its abit of a mix but its a lot more useful to have the reach :)
