Jet2 - missed outbound flight, will return still be valid?

Becuase many companies invalidate the return portion if you don't use the outbound to stop people using bargain daytrip fares to get cheap longer-term fares.
 
I think with Jet2 you'll be fine. When I booked with them it was with a system that let you pick the outward flight for a set price then the return flight for a distinct price so they're not related. All you need is your booking number and passport so it's not like there's something you need to get validated on the outwards flight.
 
Use it regardless, if they say "Sir, you were not on the outbound flight", just insist that you were. Be shocked and stunned at their apparent lack of record keeping.
