Or maybe it's just that a Seat Leon TDi (with resistor mod!!!!111one) (?) is better than a Mondeo Ghia x with the RSAP body kit

There was a bit of an unofficial motors mini meet, and on a long straight poor ol' Fox's Mondeo wasn't up to keeping up with Jez's TDi monster

Oh and Conanius doesn't like B roads yet he's bought himself a Puma which is designed to eat up those roads ravenously

I have proof that he drives everywhere at 50mph ;o)

Austinpowers as ever is a nutter behind the wheel... And my bike riding was only just about good enough to keep up with him round the tight and twisting bends.

The "echoing" tunnel was good fun - imagine motorbike, long small tunnel and bike blatting through it at high speed :cool:

My chain now needs tightening it really is looser than a tart's underwear elastic - it got a good thrashing today! I have no idea where we were... I think it was near Swindon: Ashbury and Lambourn.

Oh I had Austinpowers™ Cam strapped to my bike so we should have some fun footage.

Oh and Tesla, yes I am French

What I *actually* said was that with my foot hard to the floor, Jez's car was *still* right behind me

This was particularly funny. Every time the B road got particularly twisting, Gareths Puma dissapeared from my rear view mirror. Poor chap, Puma 1.7, designed for B road thrashing, and it couldn't keep up with a Rover 800 and a Mondeo driven by somebody everyone thinks wears slippers

Good to meet some new people and old again, was fun

Just sorting out footage, need to edit etc, but Will's bike through the "mini tunnel" very nice sounding

mind you he only got up to 120 kph

You could have driven a *little* faster really

One of the times I slowed down thinking I was going to pull over - but then changed my mind and belted off instead

I hope you managed to get some of the fast runs - I think my 2nd pass was the fastest (60mph dead of course

to be totally fair... yes, I was backing off, this because

1- new brakes
2- I dont like stacking it into other peoples cars when were in a long chain, so I left nice gaps so I could gun it out of the corners

3-........erm...er...no more excuses

awesome day, but I stand by what I said, the earlier A roads when we were gunning it off the roundabouts onto the dual carridgeways was pro

random rumbling B roads in a car your not yet up to skills with aint too cool with a rover behind you that keeps locking up the wheels at the corners

No, we don't.

Nice sunny day, nice B roads = loads of fun and you barely get above 50mph if the road is twisty enough so its nicely legal also.

Ignore me im just jealous as I spent the day driving to north wales and back.....which should have been an equally enjoyable experience along the old B roads, one word.......tractors. :mad:

im however, partially deaf from my trip home... 5.5k rpm for prolonged periods with whatever the hell is going on with my exhaust affects your ears somewhat :eek:
