Ok, Autumn/Winter is upon us.

Going to get myself some comfy slippers but I would really like to get into doing Jigsaw Puzzles.

Started doing some with the kids and I find it strangely theraputic

So, what it adviseable for a beginner (Please, no Bob the builder or any other 50 piece puzzle recommendations).

Any tips for the larger puzzles.

Also, I do not have anywhere permanent to store it while making it so need some kind of tray or something I can use so I can store it ontop of the bookcase when not in use.

Mooo.

... and google "Jigsaw Roll Felt Puzzle Storage Mat", you just roll it up when you're done until the next time you want to tackle it.

Avoid cheapo puzzles which use thin cardboard. Stick to Educa, Ravensburg, Clementoni and Heyes for frustration-free jiggling, you can sometimes get decent ones cheap in The Works.

Tips for larger puzzles? Build an extension on your house with a large single room with a laminate floor, and do them on that, I used to live in a one room flat and bought a 12,000 piece world map jigsaw, it took up virtually the entire floor.
