Wccf actually managed to break a genuine story... Jim Anderson has resigned from AMD.

I have just heard something pretty massive: Jim Anderson, AMD’s Senior Vice President and General Manager has resigned and AMD should be announcing this fact very very soon. The reasons surrounding the sudden departure are unknown but I have heard it had something to do with “tensions” related to Lisa Su.

AMD SVP and GM Computing and Graphics Jim Anderson resigns, moving on to become CEO of a yet unnamed company

Breaking news... Jim Anderson has resigned from AMD to become CEO of Lattice Semiconductor. His resignation is immediate, so they walked him today. He is starting with Lattice on the 4th of September.

AMD are internally promoting Saeid Moshkelani to SVP & GM Client Compute.

Saeid has been with AMD since 2012 when he joined to run their Semi Custom and gaming side, so his stock has obviously gone up in value!

Press release from Lattice Semiconductor:

PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 27, 2018-- Lattice Semiconductor Corporation (NASDAQ:LSCC), a leading provider of customizable smart connectivity solutions, announced the appointment of Jim Anderson as the Company’s President and Chief Executive Officer, and to the Company’s Board of Directors, effective September 4, 2018.

It is interesting that two things have happened AMD are now trading at over $25 and GlobalFoundries announce today that they are not going to go to 7nm. I would guess that at Jim's level that stock value is worth a significant personal amount and it may have been time to check out.

Shouldn't be a factor as he probably wont be allowed to sell them for 18 months (common among execs).

even still, Zen2 launches as well as Epic 2 his stocks will go up- unless locked at rate when he left in contract ?
No, shares will rise and fall with the market. Companies have no way of locking them at a fixed price for individual shareholders. And they can of course continue to be shareholders in the company for as long as they wish to.
