Jimmy Carr!

Hecklers generally see the chance to illustrate the cutting edge wit they display down the pub each night and pit it against a pro.

always ends in fail for the heckler

Pretty accurate to be honest, hecklers seem to think that stand-up comedy is a two way communication experience, but I think the hint is that only one side has a mic and spotlight! :p Haven't had much in the way of heckling yet but looking forward to the banter (well, actually I'm dreading my first!)

Jimmy Carr is much much funnier on stage than he is on TV, but its more that he can get away with far more live than is allowed on broadcast.

Saw him a couple of weeks back, cannot wait for the DVD of his Joke Technician tour because there are just too many jokes fired at you to remember any of them.

Tried to get some tickets to see him at the Middlesbrough Town Hall, he says it's his favourite place to perform, but sadly it was completely sold out.

Got Ricky Gervais and Michael Macintyre to look forward to in October :D

Saw him at the Manchester Apollo a few years ago. :) He was brilliant. :D Started asking people near the front what they did for a living. One bloke said, "artist". Intrigued Jimmy asks what kind of artists. Bloke replies, "graphics for a cricket game". Jimmy just grinned and laughed at this guy's description of himself as an artist. :D

Suppose you had to be there! :o

Prepare to be underwhelmed by the self proclaimed king of comedy that is Gervais, interestingly he's the opposite of Jimmy and I find he comes across better on dvd then he does live.

I watched about 15 minutes of it last night. When he said to the crowd "name a super power" and one guy called out "rape". The girl about 2 seats down then proceeded to give the guy the most evil stare I've ever seen. That in itself was funny

Yeah, I noticed that stare myself.

Saw him again last night at bradford!

Never laughed so much, some chavs tried to heckle him and you could see he was starting to get annoyed so he just completely destroyed them for about 20minutes :p

He is great! Off to see him in Nottingham next week. Seen him twice previously and the guy cracks me up and i always have sore sides afterwards!
