Evening chaps!
I recently built myself a PC, the specification for which is:
Gigabyte P67A-UD5 Intel P67 Chipset (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard
Intel Core i7-2600k 3.04GHz Socket LGA1155
OcUK GeForce GTX 580 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
Patriot Viper Xtreme 8GB (2x4GB) PC3-1000C9 2000MHz Dual Channel Kit
Crucial RealSSD C300 256GB 2.5" SATA 6Gb/s Solid State Hard Drive
Corsair Professional Series Gold AX1200 Power Supply
(Plus other bits)
Now that it's up and running, I'm having one major issue with it. Every 5 seconds or so, the computer will freeze for roughly a second. For example, as I'm typing this out, it will freeze and then after a second everything I've written will appear. If I'm watching a video it will freeze every few seconds, and the same if I'm trying to play a game.
I've got the latest graphics card drivers installed (version 8.17.12.6658), and the computer isn't running too hot (roughly 25c idle).
So really, I'm after any ideas you may have, as it's really starting to get on my nerves!
Cheers
Paul
