Hi guys,

So I'm applying to work in The Range to get me through uni. The application form has a section 'General Information' but I'm not sure what to write. Is it general information about me like hobbies etc.? It's under the work history section so I thought it might be things like extra work related training or something..

If anyone else has applied to The Range, what did you write? :)

Is The Range a furniture store in Kidderminster? Not that it matters hugely for my answer but other people might not know so it's potentially useful information to pass on.

In a general information section but as a subset of work history then I'd be tempted to put down any sort of information about things that might have a bearing on your ability to do the job or give further evidence of your character in a positive light e.g. maybe you've organised a charity event locally or you give up spare time to walk old people across the road or you've passed your St John's Ambulance course. I may be far wrong with this but it's a bit of an ambiguous question unless there's further context that hasn't been given.

I believe it's a nationwide chain. They took over from Big W in some places. I really don't know what to put, usually it would say 'Tell us about yourself' or something if they actually want to know about me.
