I am applying to a Estate Agency job.

the ad says "All Aplications in writing only to......."

does this mean hand writen only?

With a razor, using your own blood as ink, none of that inkject printer, or even ball-point pen, fancy stuff.

I think they mean there is no application form, so you have to send in a CV in the post to them, whether its handwritten or not is irrellivent i think. However i could be wrong

It means that applications (covering letter / cv / etc) has to be in hard copy form - that is printed or written.

Not by e-mail, telephone etc...

Yeah ok maybe I wasn't very helpfull but what sort of an employer would ask for the cv/covering letter to be handwritten??

A handwriting technician/supervisor? :p

Printed would be prefered by almost all companys. Why? Some peoples hand writing is hard to read, its also clearer and easier to read, in turn making it quicker getting through the thousands of CV's.
