Am desperate to leave current job but despite signing up to multiple job site e-mail alerts and RSS feeds noting ever seems to come up in my area thats suitable.

I have thought about recruitment agencies but all the local ones seem to be looking for low level workers (shops, factories etc).

Does anyone have any tips - where to upload CV to or national agencies etc? Dont want to get spammed or constant phone calls though?

:)

Broaden your area, consider a much wider range of jobs. Also don't get too hung up on what employers say they want. From being on the other side, we rarely got applicants that matched our moon-on-a-stick job specs. We just ended up choosing the best of who did apply.

Well i've put mine on Monster and i'm also manually looking around for jobs too. Remember more than half of empoyees won't even hunt job sites such as Monster for potential employees, they'll wait for you to go to them. Good old fashioned hunting yourself is the way forward.

I'm looking for project / change management but need to stay local.

Is it worth uploading my CV?

Also can anyone recommend any agencies?

there are countless sites you can use, however if you can I'd work out the company and see if it's possible to apply outside of the recruitment agency advertising it.

jobsite seems to be one of the most reliably "stocked" however there are a few agencies on there that only seem to post fishing jobs (just trying to get your CV) Noir Consulting being my most hated example :/
http://www.allthetopbananas.com/ searches loads of other sites

Just by way of an update - I got promoted yesterday + a pay rise - hence I'm no longer job hunting. But thanks for the tips all! :D:D:D
