Hi

Does anyone here have any experience in jobs relating to Social Media Marketing? I have a friend who wants to get a job in that area in the UK (ideally remote - they have been working for a company based outside the UK previously).

I'm wondering if there are any specific places to look for those kind of jobs or whether generic job sites are the best?

LinkedIn and Indeed or local recruitment firm websites.

Social media marketing is generally split into two areas, paid and organic. Both different skill sets, the former being where the opportunities are.

Running paid social media is quite technical, leveraging first party data, setup of different campaign types, budget management, optimising return on ad spend etc. As long as your friend can demonstrate these things, they'll be fine.
