Job Interview Questions

Hi all,

A job has cropped up that I'm interested in applying for. I have a few questions.

I currently working two jobs, the main one is Mon - Fri, 9-5. The other is 2 or 3 nights a week behind a bar. The job I'm applying for will be to replace my main job, but potentially both of them.

Firstly, would you say in an interview you are currently working two jobs? In some ways this looks positive, in others it might make them think negatively about it. I'm not sure.

And secondly, would you admit to them that if you were offered this position you would potentially quit the second job? The reason I ask this is that the pay is more than my current two jobs combined. I'd have no need to work the second job. Again though, they might see this as a positive or a negative.

Yes tell them, it's easy to sell yourself short but don't be afraid to tell them this.

Id tell them, also id say you will quit your 2nd job as some companies get arsy when you work for 2 people. Always raises questions like:

Is he commitied to me or them?
If they offer him a promotion is he going to leave?
Is he going to pull sickies because hes had a long night and fancies a lie in?
