Job Interview - Strange request?

Is this a common thing?

And by the sounds of it, it may be a group interview?

I hate group interviews

Bear in mind I've just moved to London and all I have are my clothes, phone and PC

Did one group interview, hated it. Don't see the point in it at all.

It was for McDonalds when I was desperate for work, I was the only one to turn up in a suit...

Well I'm thinking about taking my keys (which I will be anyway) or maybe a spring.

Keys open new doors etc and a spring, flexible, useful and full of energy
