So yea its my 1st real job interview today at 2.30pm. Its for the big highstreet video game retailer near me. Kinda nervous cause they only called me on Tuesday, so i haven't really had much time to prepare for it. Though I did read Huddy's guide which was quite helpful.

Hopefully its just a casual interview and mainly talk about my knowledge with games :D Though im not holding out on that. Probably just questions on how to deal with customers with returns, refunds and stuff? Haven't had much, if any, experience at Sales, so it should be interesting.

Sorry for "another" job thread, just need to convince myself ill be alright! :D

Yea it shouldn't be too bad. Its only for the part time Christmas period anyway. If i did get it and like though i would probably ask if i could stay on.

Should be ok though, they probably just want to make sure you are not scared of people, so appear confident and you will be fine :)

Should be alright. Ill be glad when its over thats for sure! Always get nervous and over think these things :D
 
Good luck. Just had a phonecall this morning telling me I was unsuccessful at a printing company. Meh :(

I'd love to work in a games store, I've applied to two but not heard from either.
 
well I'm back and it went pretty well. I kinda botched the first question which was "what do you know about the company?" I just said it was the biggest in the UK and blabbed on a bit.

Was cool cause we talked about games and stuff, mainly COD5. They said they will contact me in a day or two, so at least I don't need to wait long. They seemed pretty happy that my hours were flexible and asked would I be able to make it to the induction training next week, so they seem interested.

Funnily enough I just had an interview for a large (game)s retailer down here! Seemed to go well, I've got a fair bit work and interview experience, saying that though I don't know who else has applied, they said there was loads of jobs going though.
