Hi,

The OH had an interview for a role she is quite keen on last Friday (9th April). She has not sent a Thank You or follow up letter/ e-mail yet.

Do you think it is necessary and/ or too late?

Thanks

I would send one, reiterating interest in the position. Also, friday, it has only been 2 full working days, not too late at all.

Never sent a thankyou letter, but if i havnt heard anything in a week or so I always call as it makes you sound keen

Nothing wrong with chasing up things. It's been Easter hols, so a lot of things get derailed. This includes the contract for a graduate role I'm starting in July.

If they haven't contacted you... surely that means you didn't get the job?

u: 'Oh hi, did you pick anyone for the job yet?'
employer: 'oh i forgot all about that! ur hired LOL'

Its only been a couple of working days, they could be interviewing for a few weeks, or be following up references and other things.
