I have a job interview tomorrow. Ignoring the one for somerfield when i was 16 (:p) this is my first proper interview. It's for the role of an ICT Technician in a group of primary schools. When applying I put in my application that this would be for my university placement (which i thought might put them off), but they still gave me an interview.

What sort of questions should I expect?
I'm planning on wearing a suit, is this too much?
Should i take anything with me (they havn't said to take anything, but i'll take my record of achievement I think).
Any other tips?

Thanks in advance

Take a copy of your CV.
Yes wear a suit.

Questions like:

"What do you enjoy about IT/working with computers?"

"Where do you see yourself in 5 years?"

"What do you especially like about the role?"

"If your colleauges/friends chose 3 words to describe you, what would they be?"

I wouldn't bother with record of achievement, unless it has something decent in it not just 50m swimming certificates and 100% attendance.

Dress smartly. Take a small notepad with some questions on it to ask them about the job.

Good luck :)

Asking questions back at the interviewer is a smart move as it shows that you have researched and take a keen interest in the job.

What sort of questions do you think I should ask which would be relevant?
