obviously trading non IT related goods on OCUK is not allowed, in terms of personal recruitment what is the policy? clearly there have been a number of threads here in the past few days with loads of interest in gaining employment/experience within the IT/enterprise industry.

if we uncover roles which might suit people here can we post them here or take it to email?

I do have a selfish reason for asking but i am generally interested anyway

I would say as long as it is 3rd party vacancies and not ones that you have a personal financial/business interest in then it would be ok, need to clarify this though

reason for asking is one of our datacentres is looking for a post grad datacentre manager of sorts, its an odd position to fill but given the amount of students/youngsters who read here I thought it might appeal on a number of levels, I get no personal reward for filling the position just satisfaction and reduced workload

generally people with experience/qualifications seem to command beefier salaries

ill post the spec up if I get the green light, im not going to turn this forum into a recruitment zone just thought of you guys when this role popped up, its internal to my company so i shant be turning into an OCUK head hunter

just wanna make sure i dont annoy the moderating team so ill await and respect their decision
