Hey all.
I've got a new job lined up at somewhere nuclear and am really looking forward to it.
I need a security clearance and have two days to fill in some data online from the date of the email. This was emailed Friday to me.
Surely this means two working days?
I'd need to go out and buy a printer otherwise to print, sign and scan back in.

Oh, and as this is GD I pooed through my own letterbox, just to be on the safe side.

Could you not email it to your employer ? Then sign whatever needs signing in person when you arrive.

Two days should mean two working days, unless they said "By this date".

i'd email them to be sure though, they might even let you sign it digitally.

This is an online security thing that needs filling in. I have sent them other signed paperwork last week. I need things such as a filled in form (print, sign, scan) and a copy of a recent letter to prove address. It says two says from the date of this email.

I remember mentioning Rolls-Royce are looking for engineers in subs in one of your job threads, did you take my advice? :p

I'd it's a one off can you not just get it printed at a library or one of those print cartridge shops, or something similar?

Alternatively just email the document/confirmation email and physically sign it at a later date?

so you need to do it within two days from the date of the mail then, I wouldn't mess around with security checks
