Job sites ruining CV formatting

This is incredibly frustrating, so far I've found that jobsite.co.uk and indeed.com completely ruin the formatting of you CV when you upload it! It doesn't matter if it's .pdf or .docx Has anybody else found this and short of re-writing it to suit them is there any way around this ********?

Most people don't use Styles properly in Word. Hence nothing imports it properly. Make sure you don't use table or anything like that. Keep the layout simple and it shouldn't change.
