Jodie Foster is so bad

Just watched Panic room and Contact

Dont know about everyone else but she is so poor at acting
 
Don't understand why some people hate the ending to Contact? Maybe it's the religious undertone? Personally I found the part where she meets the aliens in the form of her father, beautiful. It made perfect sense to me that such an advanced civilisation would have also mastered their empathic abilities too.

As for Jodie Foster, hmm, she does seem a bit rigid at times but far from bad.

Foster in one of the two or three best actresses out there. The problem is not her, but the poor films she seems to end up in these days. She's too old to play the romantic lead, so she gets "character" parts, which for women tend to be badly written. No actress is going to look good when the film is rubbish.

Have to agree, also if I recall correctly it's one of the few films that did reasonable justice to the book, although maybe I need to read it again as it's been a while.
 
I'm not that knowledgeable on her acting, but I've seen Contact, and I did enjoy it. However, The Silence of the Lambs is one of my favourite films, and I thought she was fantastic in it. The part at the end, her expressions were so true (for me). If they weren't then I wouldn't have felt the suspense half as much as I did.

Bland is her adword.
Like a dishcloth that you may see all the time but don't notice. Shonky looks as well, built like a boy she is without doubt a crap actress & a minger its a lose Lose situation.
No doubt someone will post a decent pic of her now but it will have been photoshopped to the max & her make up artist would have been on overtime.
As for Silence of the lambs, Anthony Hopkins made that feel great she just made the numbers up. I hate that whispy crap she has going on when she speaks it drives me nuts.
