Joe Kinnear: It's Official

....... Speechless

He's a decent defender also watched him a few times...

Few rumours that Carr has left. Hope these are just rumours

Pardew and Carr will both report to the job centre.

fixed.....

I give Pardew evens at best on still being NUFC manager by xmas.

Kinnear is a clown at best, and a raging emoquit retard mostly. Newcastle will be championship club in season 2014/2015.

Ok can someone please explain to me why there is so much hatred for Kinnear??. Im not familiar as to why he is hated in Newcastle.

Genuinely interested :)

Thanks

Newcastle United (2008-09)[edit]
Kinnear was without a club following his departure from Nottingham Forest for almost four years, though there were rumours about joining several clubs during this time including QPR.[20] On 26 September 2008, Kinnear was named as the interim manager of Premier League side Newcastle United until the end of October, following the resignation of Kevin Keegan.[21] This initial one month period was extended for an additional month, keeping Kinnear at St. James' Park until the end of December.[22][23]
On 2 October 2008, after a controversial start to his tenure at Newcastle, he launched a verbal tirade at the Daily Mirror's journalist Simon Bird calling him a "See You Next Tuesday".[24][25] He swore 52 times in the interview with Bird and other members of the media. The club's press officer tried to order the assembled journalists not to publish any extracts from the tirade, but Kinnear himself gave the journalists permission to write up whatever they wanted from his remarks. Later in the interview, he announced that he would no longer deal with the national media while he was Newcastle manager, and that he would only speak to local newspapers from then on, with first team coach Chris Hughton handling all other interviews.

Thats one good enough reason, then add the crap results and the fact that he is clueless, a poor tactician and lied about his own career and achievements to boot.............

Youtube Kinnear explosive rant, followed by check out his terrible managerial record and his making it up about his past over his career.... ;)

Cheers guys for the explanation...no wonder the Toon fans are up in arms over his appointment:p.

Newcastle really are the funniest thing to happen this decade.

I think its a north east thing. Sunderland aren't far behind with Dicanio as their manager. I can see some full on emorage post match interviews coming up this season.......................

Imagine what a post match conference with the press and Kinnear and DiCanio all in the same room would be like. WOuld make Millwall v WestHam look like playground banter...........

Thought pards had a clause that meant he only got a years pay out so this constructive dismissal thing would only serve to spend more money for no reason...

Putting my quid on Ashley getting drunk with him and accidentally signing him up

I'd heard that in Pardew's contract there is a clause that if he gets sacked, he only gets a 1 year payout. I've only read it a couple of times so no idea how true it is.

Edit: There you go, I knew I wasn't alone in reading that
Would that clause not apply to getting sacked? What would the clause mean if Pardew resigned and claimed constructive dismissal? It could be that if the club don't sack Pardew the clause is useless.

The reports a few months ago claimed that Newcastle would only have to pay him 1 years wages if they sacked him. However I read an article in the Telegraph the other day (by somebody close to Newcastle) and he claimed that Newcastle wanted to sack Pardew last month but would have had to pay Pardew off in full if they sacked him.

Feel devastated now... Carr looks set to walk because of the Douglas deal.... Two years of his hard word destroyed in a matter of mins when clownface walked into to stamp his authority

I'm absolutely furious, is Ashley on a vendetta to completely ruin the club? Yeh, ok we had a bad season last year, but the year before was very good. Pardew is a good manager, he doesn't become a bad one overnight, there is no need to appointment this **** to come in and disrupt everything.

Carr is easily one of the best scouts out there, has brought in some top quality players with very limited resources. Yet he is on the verge of walking, and who would blame him? We are going to be left with no manager, no chief scout and Kinnear calling the shots at the helm.

Not looking forward to the new season at all.

I'm another worried toon fan.

I only hope Kinnear allows more transfers in than DL. However I doubt we'll see anything in terms of quality.

He's mentioned offloading players who don;t cut it. I imagine seeing any player being sold as the whole team was responsible last season, not just one or two.

Bye bye Cabs, Hatem and the likes

However I would be happy with the sales of Guti and Obertan if better players can be found. My biggest pet hate is Pardew's insisting that Guti has to be on the pitch at all times!

Rumours are probably just that but its being said today they are renaming Shearers (the bar attached to the ground) and that apparently Carr is on the verge.

Probably just rumours but there is a lot of discontent at the moment :p

I think if that happened, riots would start. And I for one (never been into that kind of thing ever) would be first in line.

If Carr does leave, the fans need to do something about it. Stop giving Ashley money. If no one turns up to the ground then what chance does he have of surviving.

Yes I know it's a catch 22 situation, but the club is going down the pan anyway, why go and pay to watch it do so?

I fully agree, Jonas shouldn't have played many games last season. The only positive for him, is that he does what he is told. A true professional.

When the likes of Ben Arfa, Marveaux etc, won't listen to Pards and want to play the game they want to. Which truth be told, is 10x better than Jonas, but they leave us short defensively.
