Sadly they do pay attention to him and what he and his guests have to say. When people listen to this fool over actual doctors/scientists you know we are doomed as a species.
 
Joe's the host. He's obviously the king of bro science, but he's also talking to guests for what, 12 hours a week? Of course he's going to say things that aren't correct and/or stupid; if anyone is taking medical advice from him, well that's natural selection as far as I'm concerned.

I listen for the guests.

He’s earning 10s of $m a year from this so it would be pocket change to employ two top fact checkers so the info was accurate but he isn’t interested in being accurate, it’s just about viewing figure. You might take it all with a pinch of salt but millions believe it.
