Joey Barton - England's best midfielder!

I could never tell whether my mum was pleased or worried I'd turn out gay when she checked into the phone bill.
 
In fairness he's been in good form this season.

He's not the best midfielder at Newcastle tho, never mind best in England.
 
He does have a point about Barry though.

I have always though Barry was rather useless, at pretty much everything. Poor passer, cant hold the ball up, cant take anyone on, not a good finisher, not particularly good in the air either.

What does he do well ? I suppose he's better than Joey Barton at not hitting people and being a repellent little thug...
 
Garath Barry and James Milner are very similar in my eyes. Expensive and comparatively poor quality English players that haven't at all lived up to their promise.

Once City qualify for the Champs League it's easy to imagine they'll be replaced or relegated to squad players.
 
As a Newcastle fan I wholeheartedly agree with him and totally believe he's not as bad as the media make out, and I'll continue to believe that until he leave Newcastle at which point I'll probably have a change of heart.

On a serious point he was great earlier in the season, he was a very big reason for the success of Andy Carroll while he was a Newcastle.
 
Fact is, if Joey wasn't such a douche he'd already be in the squad. I should hope so anyways. His form this season has been undeniable but that seems to be overlooked due to his past (Maybe). He's also done well to keep his calm (apart from punching Pedersen of course, ha) as other teams goad him, kinda like they do with Rooney.

Stats show he's considerably better than Barry. If he played for your club you'd love him. 100% effort every game and he's been for us so far.

Having a temper and getting into a few fights hardly denotes the title of 'scum' but I guess everyone is perfect huh.
