Has anyone used John Lewis' TV installation service? Would you recommend it? I'm planning to buy the LG OLED soon and since I live on my own, I could do with help installing the stand and actually getting it onto my TV cabinet! I'm not too bother about actually connecting it up to my devices tbh as I could do that myself.

I noticed this earlier whilst having a browse.
I suppose they'd do the job but it doesn't look cheap for what it actually is.
Maybe a local handyman or similar would do the job at half the price.
Or Richer Sounds do a similar service and their price match etc for the TV may mean you could get it all through them.

Yeah, I imagine it would be cheaper if I paid someone else though part of it is convenience.

I am considering Richer Sounds though I'm swaying towards John Lewis because I can select a Saturday/evening delivery.

If it's the same style as our LG at work,it's only 4 screws that attaches stand to the TV, also not heavy at all and easily manageable to lift it 2ft on your own.

What do they charge? Not something ridiculous like £60 is it?

I'm more concerned about damaging the screen than the weight tbh.

£45.
