Join 2 DVD's when in .Vob form

As title really I have the extended version of the Lord of the Rings which is on two DVD's per film. I have them burnt to my media center PC. Is it possible to join the two disks while leaving them in standard dvd format?

DVD Shrink comes to mind.

Could try avidemux. God knows why they put them on 2 dvds, is ~5Mb/s not enough?

48 chapters and 300+ minutes per film!! Ive just worked out how to do it in DVDshrink thanks for the help.

208, 223 and 251 minutes respectivley for the ntsc versions. 300mins is 5 hours.

You should consider compressing them with h.264.
