Joining a LAN over the internet

Hi. I want to set up a LAN gaming session for a couple of friends. Unfortunately, one of them lives 200 miles away :rolleyes:

What is the simplest way to allow him to join my home network over the internet? I always assumed it was simply a matter of setting up a VPN, but I haven't played with one of those since Win 95 days?

Use hamachi , get it installed on th ePC's ( its simulates lan over the internet)

get everyone who wants to play to install hamachi free

create a network called say 'cavemanoc' password 'games'

tell your friends to join that network, then you'll all have access to each other's fileshares and be able to play online.

-make sure everyone is virus free too
