Hey guys

Going to visit the GF in Brussels on Thursday this week, and apart from the usual stuff of taking flowers and whatnot I thought I would make her a CD of all the absolute cheesey tripe songs that basically say "I'll miss you".

It won't be serious and it'll purely be just for fun and I was planning on leaving it with a card in her room so she can find it when I've gone. ;)

Only one I can think of is the obvious "I'll be missing you", by whoever that was... suggestions would be welcome. :p
 
James Taylor - Ain't No Sunshine(although I object to calling this song cheesy).
Robert Palmer - Bad Case Of Loving You(not too sure if this fits)
Air Supply - Even The Nights Are Better, Two Less Lonely People In The World(probably any Air Supply song would do)
ABC - When Smokey Sings
Stevie Wonder - My Cherie Amour, I Just Called To Say I Love You
The Police - Can't Stand Losing You or Every Breath You Take(which is sampled by Puff Daddy and Faith Evans for I'll Be Missing You).

There are probably loads more but that will do as a starter.

Heh heh. :D I had some annoying ex gf dedicate that song to me back in the Army days. It has drove me nuts ever since.

And I still can't get over the lyrics: "...born and raised in South Detroit". Where the heck is South Detroit? Oh, that would be Windsor, Canada. :o


edit: Grrrr. Now that song's stuck in my head. :mad:
