I've just pulled off a pretty good one...

Create a .txt or .doc file with whatever message you want and copy-paste it as many times as you like in their Startup folder. Then, set the Startup folder to hidden. :D It won't actually hide the Startup folder until they reboot though so probably better to wait until the end of the day to decrease the chance of them seeing all the new files in the Start menu.

make it open some proper dodgey sites....get your boss sacked , then take his/her job
 
All the desk phones at my old work used to have black handsets, so pressing the earpiece on a black ink pad was always good for a moderate laugh.
 
At my last job some people wrapped a guy's desk and computer in foil. They even wrapped the pen! They then put a troll face on the computer screen - it was hilarious! Then we had to remove it all before the computer overheated and/or the boss came, lol!
 
Stage a massive bust up between two colleagues in front of one of yours colleagues. Then get other colleagues to encourage that person to report it and then pretend you all know nothing about what they are on about :)
