Jolla is official

More interested in the OS than anything else really. Harmatten ( OS on the N9 ) was a joy to use and hopefully Sailfish proves to be just as good.

The launch date is a bit of a concern but went ahead and pre-ordered all the same.

really liked the idea of meegoo - had an N900 and really liked the OS.
unfotunately seeing the horrible overly square design of the phone means i wont be touching it with a barge pole

I like the look of it, and specs mean nothing provided they are sufficient to run the phone smoothly. It's all about being easy to use and capturing the imagination of the consumer.

Rumors of the pre-booked handsets shipping out by the end of the month. :)

The release will more than likely go unoticed, but I'm always interested in something different, so I'm pretty excited to actually get my hands on the device. It'll be Interesting to see how the OS has developed since Slush 2013 and also how smoothly the android compatibility is.

Will post impressions and pictures when mine arrives.

Although I'm a Samsung fanboy nowadays, I hope that Nokia can pull it off with this one, given the Android app support. Nokia phones were everywhere in the 2000s decade, and I think it would be a shame for them to throw it all away. I kinda feel the same for Blackberry too. Although I've never owned a BB phone, hope they survive too, although it's looking bleak for them atm.
