Just thought I'd share some video from a relatively little known, but extremely talented fellow I've had the pleasure of seeing live quite regularly. I'm sure I've mentioned him a few times before.

Yep - lots of regular gigs anywhere within an hours drive of Leeds. Plus a few further afield. He keeps himself busy.

Seen a lot of great guitarists - Tommy Emmanuel - Andy McKee - Nick Harper - Erik Mongrain - Newton Faulkner (well he's better than me :p). Jon certainly belongs in the same league. Maybe towards the top end.
 
The Mongrain gig I saw was pretty interesting, if only because he kept getting shocks off electrical equipment and I was wondering if he was going to make it out of there alive.

He plays beautifully but I think he's a much better guitarist than he is a composer. There wasn't really anything I'd want to buy on CD in the set.
 
Nope. Saw him in Sheffield. Weird gig. He couldn't connect to the PA system and he ended up playing through his monitors.
