Never seen Hollyoaks although my two daughters are addicted.

The other guests they normally try and get pretty knowledgeable people on, Wossy is not "clever". I can't ever imagine him amazing people with trivia knowledge on his Friday Night show.

IIRC his career was pretty much over til his wife had an affair and he had a breakdown. I remember reading an interview with him where he said that.

But then Buzzcocks is Wossy's kind of show. QI isn't.

I really like Wossy. I find him hilarious.

Hollyoaks, on the otherhand, is ****.

Wossy was okay until he hit his midlife crisis about 5 or 6 years ago. His style previous to that was a lot more relaxed and tolerable. He had an early evening show in the early 90s which was pretty good.

The he suddenly decided that he was actually a 'comedian' and it's all been about as funny as a cot death since then. I just can't stand his narcissistic 'I'm so funny' manner.

When he interviewed Morrissey that was just painful. Lots of big stars are quite modest and fun, and it works then, but Mozzer wasn't having any of it, there never really was an interview, just Ross making a dick of himself while Moz looked on.

And as mentioned, he's massively, obscenely overpaid.

I enjoy his shows, and sometimes his radio show. one of the only things worth watching on TV at the moment and look forward to it on friday nights.

Woss is good entertainment though.

Hollyoaks is rubbish, the girls aren't up to much now either....teens with kids, chavvy mingers named after cars that dress like prostitutes...how classy.
