Am I ok to use Conductonaut liquid metal with the Jonsbo CR2000 GT heatsink?

Most of the plate is made up of the 6 copper heat pipes but the piece holding them together looks and feels like aluminium (although I can't find any spec saying it is definetly aluminium) so at the moment I've just used the compound that came with the heatsink which doesn't seem too great.

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks for the reply but I'm not sure if it is aluminium or not because it looks like this and I can't find any specs that say what the other piece is made of.

Thanks Guys I'll just leave it as it is the temps aren't too bad once I'd looked into it.
5600x 28 deg idle 62 deg max load. PBO boosting to 4.8Ghz getting abround 15200 in Timespy so more than happy.

@JohnG7 Yeah my first post in a long time. I've just gone from a i7 3770k @ 4.5ghz, GTX 1070 and 16gigs DDR3 1866 to The Ryzen 5 5600x with a RTX 3080FE (I just happened to be on Scan when they dropped) and 16Gigs DDR4 3600.

OLD skool gamer, I'm nearly 50 and still gaming but the wife and kids are more important than my annual upgrades.
