Jonsbo MOD-3 MATx Showcase

Whilst I haven't built in one, I can contribute some feedback.

Jonsbo cases are really nicely put together, the materials they use are overall quite good and the fit and finish on every model I have handled is a high quality. Regarding the Mod-3 specifically, the case is an open format so it is worth keeping in mind that there isn't any dust filtration etc.
This will mean that you will have to remove the side panel quite frequently and use a compressor/canned air etc to remove any accumulation of dust.

Looks like a version of the Antec Torque from yester year, that took ATX size boards, was easy to build in and the panels were sturdy enough however as rjk mentioned above as it was 'open' dust was a issue.

Thanks for the feedback, it's most appreciated. That comment about the materials being ‘overall quite good’ doesn’t give me huge confidence. At £200 I’d really hope for something that feels properly high‑quality. Could you suggest any other funky looking cases that will appeal to a 10 year old? It would need to hold a mATX board, 240 rad, and a smallish 3070 video card out of his existing case.

when I say quite good, it certainly isnt cheap or poor quality. the cost of the case is mainly the unique design and tooling associated with making something that different from the norm.

Realistically there isnt much on the market that looks like the Mod-3 anymore.

There is the Kolink Big Chungus if you want a lower cost alternative?

MATX cases on my favourite list currently:
Lian Li A3
Jonsbo D32/D31
Phanteks XT M3
Antec CX600M Trio ARGB

all superb cases that are best sellers here at OcUK, although I can appreciate they are all 'boring' looking compared to the case you asked about.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. However, like all fickle 10‑year‑olds, it seems he’s changed his mind and now wants a Meta Quest 3 instead. Looks like his current Fractal Design Define 7 Mini will have to do for a bit longer.
