Do OCUK plan to tell the Jonsbo N3? If so is there a timescale?
Cheers!
Cheers!
Thanks Slogan! Planning a NAS/Home server and really torn between the N2 & N3 - Might hold off for a bit and see what the reviews say for the N3 (And price, of course)Asked Jonsbo about this recently and they said they expect it to hit the UK market in October. Looks like a really nice iteration of the N series.
I really wish this supported an MATX motherboard. Can't think of any ITX boards that have 8 Sata ports
Yeah, I ended up uaing an m.2 SATA adapter (SilverStone ECS07), as my MoBo only had 4 sata ports
I've not been using it long, but no isues yet with speed/reliance (yet) - There is a very bright light on it though? Not major just threw me off. What has been your experience been like with it?
What operating system are you using? Is the S.M.A.R.T. info for the drives attached accessible?Yeah, I ended up uaing an m.2 SATA adapter (SilverStone ECS07), as my MoBo only had 4 sata ports
Running Ubuntu 22.04 LTS - No issues with SMART data & Self tests. Was previously using TrueNAS which didn't give me any issues, either (had to move away from that for other reasons)What operating system are you using? Is the S.M.A.R.T. info for the drives attached accessible?
Reviews starting to come in for these now. The choice of dual 3-pin 100m fans for the rear is a very strange decision.
I have one of these on the way, hopefully should be here in a few days. I was gutted about this too, as noticed after the order, but i saw a Chinese review video on YouTube the other day and when flicking through it and it seems they fitted noctua 92mm nf a9 in there place. Video description confirmed this too.
I have one of these fans spare atm so will try it and if indeed it does fit will order another one and fit them both instead.
Hadn't actually thought of going down to 92mm again but suppose it could be done through an adapter, if it isn't supported natively.
Very strange decision all the same but that would soften the blow somewhat. Let us know how you get on with it.
Hey slogan,
